What is Diamond Wallet?
Diamond Wallet is the first functional self-custodial Lightning wallet from Japan and Asia built using the Breez SDK and nodes from Blockstream's Greenlight.
The product is still in beta — but it already supports all basic Lightning wallet functions and is available for testing with real sats.
Bolt Link: Bit.ly with Lightning and sats rewards
Diamond Wallet integrates Bolk Link and a “sats4ads” function, making it a unique wallet that pays users directly in a self-custodial manner.
Users can claim small amounts of sats by clicking on a special Bolt Link, which prompts the wallet to open an advertisement in the in-app browser.
Think of it as a bit.ly with Lightning and sats rewards. You can create a Bolt Link for any URL and distribute sats to Diamond Wallet users as you see fit.

Bolt Link is inspired by the early work of Lntxbot and its sats4ads service, developed by fiatjaf. Although this service was discontinued some time ago, we are reviving the concept with self-custody and a more flexible link-generation scheme.

In a nutshell, only users with a valid Lightning channel can claim sats rewards via Bolt Link.We leverage the initial cost of setting up a self-custodial wallet as a mechanism to reduce spam.
This serves as an alternative spam prevention scheme to the custodial and KYC model, which is more commonly used today.
Use cases
Since Bolt Link is a simple, text-based solution, it can be easily integrated into various services. Some potential use cases include:
Generating a Bolt Link and sharing it on social media to boost exposure.
Inserting a Bolt Link in a Google Form thank-you message to reward respondents with sats.
Sharing a Bolt Link during live streams to reward active users.
Providing an easy way for new users to earn their first sats without going through KYC.
Future considerations
We plan to further improve Diamond Wallet and Bolt Link by adding the following features in the coming months.
The ability to open a channel via in-app purchase (for newbies without sats).
Compatibility with other Lightning wallets built on Greenlight.
The ability to push advertisements directly to wallet users.
A referral scheme.
