How to set up Diamond Wallet and receive sats via Bolt Links

Bolt links allow you to receive sats by clicking on the link and viewing ads on Diamond Wallet.

Note that a user is required to set up a Lightning channel in advance to be eligible for receiving sats. This guide shows you how to get started on Diamond Wallet and bolt links step-by-step.

How to set up Diamond Wallet and bolt links

Install beta software from Google Play/TestFlight

Open a Lightning channel

Currently, Diamond Wallet only accepts payments via Lightning, so you need to send sats from other Lightning-enabled wallets to open a channel. The minimum amount required to open a channel is 2,500 sats.

Click a Bolt Link and open Diamond Wallet

Now that you have the channel set up, the rest is easy. Click on a bolt link, which prompts the wallet to open an advertisement in the in-app browser.

For example, use this bolt link with a 200 sats reward.

View the ad and earn sats

In the background, the wallet software syncs the latest block information and checks if you are eligible to receive sats while you’re viewing the ads. If you meet all the conditions, you will receive sats after 5 to 30 seconds. The amount of sats you receive varies with each link.
